Long time coming

I made money when I was in grade school doing letterings and drawings for my classmates.I remember sleeping at twelve midnight for my classmates' assignments to be ready the following morning, (going to bed at 12 is a no-no for a 9 year-old boy) wakes up at 6, go to school by 7am, buy food during recess at 10, from the payment I have received from them! It makes them happy, it makes me happy. Those were the days. . .

My graphic design learning has begun.

School days have passed. All creative longings are being done manually. No computer, no programs. Just an old school camel hair brush, hardware paints and plywoods.

Then, the haitus. . .

The next scene; Landscape Designer, work in garden maintenance for a decade, (voluntary and otherwise), got married, baby didn't come for twelve years. . .

But the itch needs to be scratch.

'It's been almost four years of digital design experience and I would say its been a wonderful ride. Good things happen to those who adapt to the new and bold ways of looking and doing things.'

New things may come and go. But the passion resides in the heart.

It was, it is, it will ever be . . . forever.

Learn Illustrator...please | A complete reference of Adobe Illustrator Shortcut Key

While we totally appreciate their work, we also want them to be "complete" of their graphical tools arsenal to be able to really claim that title. I say "complete" because these are just the tools. And by no means you can be complete without your fundamental foundation, creativity & insight among other things. The three must-learn tools are (not necessarily in the order of importance); 1. Photoshop - Of course for image editing and all that stuff. 2. Illustrator - For creating logo and vector graphics. 3. InDesign - For doing web and print layout professionally. And to jumpstart your Illustrator learning process, memorize and use the shortcut keys. And what a better way to

Logo Design Inspiration

Let's admit it. Design inspirations from any (conceivable&unconceivable) sources are always most welcome to fuel our design passion and to keep the fire burning as they say. Even the pain can be a source of inspiration, say that to Mr. Jon Bongiovi. Devoid of inspirations, an artist may find himself tight and locked up.  As I dug into the design minefield, I found these two very interesting collection of Logo Designs that will surely save yourself from missing the deadlines and costly graphic design books from Fully-Booked, National Bookstore and Powerbooks. Eighty designs. Just Two Links . Consult them often.
